The original painting was 65 x 90cm and sold in 2020. This painting was part of a series called Reflect. Inspired by the first lockdown in 2020, with the theme track and trace your thoughts!
Highlighting the importance to become more self-aware, reflect and guard against miss information, negativity and what we consume or listen to in general. The box heads represents the storage of our past and present experiences, our thoughts and feelings. Like on an airplane the blackbox records and stores data and information. It’s the same with our mind, it records and stores everything we hear and what we see, and determines our mental health.
